In case you have not been driving recently, gasoline prices are down 21 cents on average across Michigan. Citing a report from AAA of Michigan, MLive.com reports that drop may appear substantial but prices are still over 70 cents higher than they were this time last year. The current state average is $3.49 but several gas stations in the Lansing area are as low as$2.98! For once it would seem falling stock prices are having a positive effect on the average consumer.
